These are photos taken at several locations around the world (Sydney, Paris, Stockholm, the Caribbean, San Francisco, Arizona, Washington, etc.)--often at night. The perk of traveling for work is offset by only having time for photography after work.

I'm a fan of early photographers like Edward Steichen, who used their negatives as the starting point for something that often looked more like a painting when complete. This painterly effect is something I strive for in my own photos.
